Robert Lalonde’s ELH Diet focuses on weight loss & keeping the weight off

At What Point Did You Decide To Write A Book?
While doing my research I came across the fact that two thirds of the population are either overweight or obese.
I also found out that 85 percent of dieters regain any weight they lose within one year of going on a diet!
It’s a big problem that affects all of us in one way or another. Even if you’re the one in three that isn’t overweight, the cost to the health care system affects you. I made the decision to contribute to a solution in any way I can.

Clearly author Robert Lalonde has put a lot of time, energy and research into getting to know the truth about how food and the food industry really work. Though I was not looking to go on a diet, I am certainly interested in eating in a more informed and healthy way and this book helps immensely.I found the information in this well-written guide very compelling. Lalonde backs up his indictment of high-fructose foods and sugar with thorough research and explains what could be very complicated subject matter (hormones, insulin, the lymphatic system etc) in simple, easily “digestible” language.

Lalonde also gives readers an easy-to-follow plan on how to improve the way they eat. He states “Rather than trying to lose weight by eating less, you will just eat differently. It’s more of a change in lifestyle than a diet.

I found his systematic and clear three R approach (reset, retrain, retain) compelling and easy to follow and I loved the Glycemic Index & Load Charts at the end of the book. They are a great reference to take shopping with you!

I genuinely feel that this book has put me on the path to a healthier way of looking at food.

Truly helpful and full of good basic information for getting back on track with eating right. The bad part is the charts are small on my (old) kindle but
after following suggestions with the ELH Diet (for 2 weeks so far) I’ve lost 8 lbs. WOW – I’m impressed. No matter what I’ve tried in the past it just didn’t work.
Last year I tried and gained 10 lbs. Losing weight is certainly a big encouragement. I believe I was eating the wrong foods at the wrong time. The information is truly helpful. Thank you.

Jon L. Neely on amazon Jon L. Neely’s 5 star review on amazon Gets You On The Path To Taking Control Of Your Health!

Robert breaks down the myths of the popular, everyday diets and gets you on the path to taking control of your health.

Personally, I’ve been interested in the process of getting your body in the state of Ketosis, which puts your body in fat burning mode. And he helped break it down simply and effectively.

I am excited to know that I will now have the 3Rs of the Easy, Lean & Healthy diet to help keep me focused and on the path to the healthy lifestyle I seek.

I loved Robert Lalonde’s writing style. I appreciate reading books from authors, who deliver well researched information in a way that I can remember easily.

When Robert Lalonde writes, “This book will change your life” he is right.

momof3 top amazon reviewerVery informative read, great ideas and could really help you make a great life change. March 30, 2015

The book has 3 focuses, resetting your body, then retraining it and then retaining it. This book teaches you that you can eat when you are hungry, and it will help you break a sugar addiction as well as an addiction to processed foods.

This is a great read and has some very valid ideas. I think it would definitely work and help you lose weight and keep it off if you follow the principles and guidelines in this book.

Reviewer Anita Kovacevic No simple cookbook – personal research into food and health, 4 stars March 24, 2015

by Anita Kovacevic Author rates it 4 stars

This is a serious, non-fiction research and advice book on eating habits. The book provides lots of information gained through research which is explained in detail, providing links, charts and documented sources, which might make it very useful for medical students, people interested in and learning about nutrition and medicine, as well as those whose illnesses have forced them into using so many pharmaceutical cures that they are looking for a less lab-created, and more natural chemical changes for their bodies.

I believe this meticulous research into the way food affects our body’s strengths, health and longevity will find its target readers and prove to be a highly useful source of data and advice.
